Brainstorm - Make a list of the times when Jesus used prayer in his ministry.

1. Jesus Prays in the Wilderness: After His baptism, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness where He fasted for 40 days and nights, during which He also prayed (Matthew 4:1-2).

2. Jesus Prays Before Choosing the Twelve Disciples: Before choosing His twelve disciples, Jesus spent the whole night in prayer to God (Luke 6:12-13).

3. Jesus Prays at His Baptism: When Jesus was baptized, He was praying and heaven was opened (Luke 3:21).

4. Jesus Prays After Performing Miracles: After a day of performing miracles and healing, Jesus would often withdraw to lonely places and pray (Luke 5:16).

5. Jesus Prays Before Peter’s Confession: Jesus was praying in private and His disciples were with Him (Luke 9:18).

6. Jesus Prays at the Transfiguration: As He was praying, the appearance of His face changed, and His clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning (Luke 9:28-29).

7. Jesus Prays for Little Children: Jesus took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them and prayed for them (Matthew 19:13).

8. Jesus Prays in Gethsemane: Before His crucifixion, Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, asking His Father to take the cup of suffering from Him (Matthew 26:36-44).

9. Jesus Prays for His Disciples and All Believers: In John 17, Jesus prays for His disciples and for all those who would believe in Him.
