  1. Open your Google Sheets document.
  2. Click on the column header of the column to the right of where you want the new column to be. The entire column will be highlighted.
  3. Right-click on the highlighted column header.
  4. A drop-down menu will appear. Click on "Insert 1 left" to add a new column to the left of the selected column, effectively placing it to the right of your original column.
