Why do we require SVIs'? What limitations VLANs will face in absence of SVIs'?

We require SVIs (Switched Virtual Interfaces) for several reasons.

1. Routing between VLANs: SVIs allow us to route traffic between different VLANs within a switch. Without SVIs, VLANs would be isolated from each other, and communication between them would not be possible.

2. Default gateway: SVIs act as the default gateway for devices within a VLAN. They provide a way for devices to communicate with devices outside of their VLAN, such as devices on other VLANs or on different networks.
