Solution
The Python programming language was developed by Guido van Rossum. He started working on Python in the late 1980s and its implementation was started in December 1989. Guido was working at CWI (Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica) in the Netherlands at that time. The idea was to create a simple and easy-to-read programming language. The first version of Python (Python 0.9.0) was released in 1991.
