Write an answer to the Homework Exercise Question using the Legal Analysis Method. This is not a research assignment so I do not want to see articles, or books quoted. This is a practical exercise to get you to write an answer using the legal analysis method and apply the law to a set of facts.  Cases from the textbook and slides can be used, but all cases used, require their relevant citation.  The citation is not the case name but the reference where it can be found: eg Nicaro case (see in referencing below) is found in the year 1999 in Volume 91 of the Australian Law Reports on page 513. In short, the citation is: (1990)  91 ALR 513, only not the case name.  Correct use of referencing is an academic discipline criterion and has been explained above and in the Marking Matrix below. Spacing and Font: 1.5 spacing and Minimum 12 font. Headings can be used, such as "Is the beehive patentable subject matter?". the headings in the question will follow from what the question requires you to answer.  DO NOT USE headings such as; ISSUE, RULE, APPLICATION, AND CONCLUSION  and make lists under these headings. that is not the legal analysis method.Word limit: 1000 words Maximum. No additional 10% over is allowed. Referencing:1. Cases and statutory sections will need to be referenced correctly in your answer. Students in this subject come from various disciplines that use different referencing styles, that do not reference cases or statutes often. So for simplicity, the basic method to reference a case is based on the two most used referencing systems.
