However, in online learning, communication is mostly text-based and may not be immediate. For instance, a student may have to type their question in a chat box and wait for a response.

A similarity between the two is the need for respect and attentiveness. In a physical classroom, students are expected to listen attentively when the teacher or a fellow student is speaking and not interrupt. Similarly, in an online class, students should not spam the chat box or disrupt the class in any way.
