As we read the novel, it is imperative that you react to the reading. A reaction can consist of the following ideas (though don't feel limited to these)...Prediction based on the plot so far or from having read other similar novels.Character analysis- what or who does the character remind you of? What do you think they will do next?Connection- does this remind you of other books, movies, or events?What has surprised you the most and why? What would you change and why?Really you can write about anything that the story makes you think of. The only rule is that you do not summarize the story. We all know what happened in the story so it is not beneficial to simply restate it in a journal entry.   Once you have completed 5 dated entries on one document titled, Scythe Reading Response ," you will be asked to submit them through Canvas. Follow the rubric below to gain all possible points. Each reading Response should be a total of 150 words. Think about your Notice and Note notes you took during class.
