Solution

Your next step would be to create a frame or canvas. This is where you will design your mockup. Here are the steps:

  1. On the left side of the screen, you will see a toolbar. Click on the square icon (Frame tool) at the top of the toolbar.

  2. Click and drag on the canvas to create a frame of the desired size. You can also choose from a list of preset frame sizes in the right sidebar, which includes common screen sizes for desktop and mobile devices.

  3. Now, you can start adding shapes, text, and images to your frame to create your mockup. You can add these elements by using the tools in the toolbar.

  4. Remember to save your work regularly. Figma also has an autosave feature, but it's good practice to manually save your work as well.

  5. Once you're done with your mockup, you can share it with others by clicking on the Share button in the top right corner of the screen. You can choose to share the file as view-only, or you can allow others to edit the file as well.
