  4. Internalization (Explicit to Tacit): This is the process of embodying explicit knowledge into tacit knowledge. It is closely related to "learning by doing". When explicit knowledge is shared throughout an organization, it is internalized into individuals' tacit knowledge bases in the form of shared mental models or technical know-how.

The SECI model is a continuous and dynamic process, and it is not limited to the boundaries of an organization. It can also be applied to the creation of inter-organizational knowledge and innovation.
