This school is the bomb.

The location is fabulous. Walking from the garage to the School of Social Work I get to actually witness populations I will be working with in the future. The staff is great. I love the setting of the school.

I really like the student center and the library. The School of Social Work building is severely lacking in terms of vending machines and food accessibility, but you make due. The school is in the middle of Baltimore City so you will see some interesting people walking to class. I have had a good experience here and I think its a great school.

It's nice being on a campus that is mostly made up of graduate students and doctoral candidates. There is none of the annoying frat/sorority stuff. Just a lot of people focused on their education. The location right in the middle of downtown can be fun too.

This school only offers graduate professional programs, so it does not at all have the feel of the undergrad scene, which is great. Most people don't live on campus. It is in the heart of downtown Baltimore, so you definitely see the "gritty" side of the city. Professors are high quality and it has by far the best graduate schools in Maryland.

This school is not unlike other top tier nursing schools in the country. There is glaring bias, and there is nothing you can do as a student to counteract it. GLARING. Nursing is not a very diverse field, and MD is not willing to break the mold in that regard, despite any claims to the contrary on their misleading website.
