French teacher says he has been impressed by his obvious motivation, hard work and determination in remembering, mastering and apply all his new vocabulary and grammar...However, tutor and headteacher also pointed out some 'behavioural concerns' about Damon, which indicates his inmature social skills. Honestly, although the Headmaster offered him one to one mentoring chance from Sep, the family are disappointed about the school's lack of effective support but took accusations from other English students without full assessing the facts. For example, Damon used 'fat' word to another Year 8 boy whoes parents complained to school and Damon received suspension as a result. However Damon didn't mean it and didn't understand the weight of English words. Now Damon feels isolated by other peers at school. If this continues, his parents are worried about his mental health and normal school life. They believe Damon is a simple, kind and innocent child who want to interact with others well but lacks of maturity and social skills at the moment. The family would like to move him to a more international students friendly school who recognises Damon's strength and weakness, and Damon can feel fully supported and cared there.
