Celebrities, politicians, athletes, CEOs and everyday people often face rumors and gossip about wrongdoing. When this happens, the subject of the rumor may deny it to try "shut it down". Typically the denial takes a serious tone (e.g., “I did not cheat on my partner"). However, sometimes the subject may deny the rumor with a funny response using humor/jokes.  As part of this research we are trying to collect examples of situations involving claims, gossip or statements about a wrongdoing that may or may not be true.
