Solution

The Waterfall Model is not suitable for accommodating any change. This model is a sequential design process, often used in software development processes, where progress is seen as flowing steadily downwards (like a waterfall) through the phases of conception, initiation, analysis, design, construction, testing, production/implementation, and maintenance. Once a phase of development is completed, the development proceeds to the next phase and there is no turning back. If a requirement error is found, or a change needs to be made, the project has to start from the beginning with all the associated costs and schedule implications.
